This is my guest room. My BFF Kari is in town for a while so she is breaking it in for me!
I wanted this room to be an eclectic, cozy, and yet soothing retreat for my guests that didn’t feel like the collection of leftover pieces that guest rooms (understandably) often are. The only items purchased for the room were the custom painted nightstands, the duvet, and a pair of new shades to freshen up the lamps.
{Walls are Michigan Ave. by Allen and Roth for Valspar paint-  A soothing deep gray with a touch of purple; Duvet cover by West Elm on a 1920’s wrought iron bed that I have had since childhood; Custom painted vintage mid-century nightstands by Artichoke Alley here in Huntsville; Wooden lamps hand-made by my grandfather; Circle sheers by Ikea; Vintage type setter’s drawer hangs above the bed.}
